'Nobody Asked Rahul to Hug Pinarayi': M A Baby's Sharp Response to Rahul Gandhi

A fresh political row has erupted within the opposition INDIA bloc after CPI(M) General Secretary M A Baby sharply responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks about former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Speaking about discussions at the INDIA bloc meeting, Rahul Gandhi had said he "cannot hug" Pinarayi Vijayan because of his ongoing political battle with the Left in Kerala. The comment came amid objections from Left leaders over Congress allegations of a tacit understanding between the CPI(M) and the BJP.
