A turquoise house in flood-hit Trishuli, Nepal, has remarkably survived the devastating deluge as residents return to assess the destruction around them. A local family recalled fearing for their lives and praying together as massive torrents of ice, rock, mud and debris swept through the region. The disaster has left behind widespread destruction, with homes and infrastructure damaged across affected areas.
