Maduro Arrives In Manhattan Via Helicopter For Court Appearance
Ousted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro arrived in Manhattan via helicopter early Monday morning (January 5) for a court appearance. He is expected to face U.S. federal charges including narco-terrorism, conspiracy, drug trafficking, money laundering and others later Monday. Maduro exited the helicopter surrounded by military and law enforcement officials and was escorted along a pier to an awaiting armoured vehicle to be transported to the federal courthouse.
