A class 12 student has been raped and then burnt alive in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The 17-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly raped by her neighbour, a 22-year-old engineering student, Saurav, on Monday. Her father said the girl and he went to file a complaint with the local police, who merely told them to come back the next day and that only after they paid a bribe of a few hundred rupees.
