Fresh details are now emerging of how arms dealer Abhishek Verma and his associates systematically penetrated the Defence Ministry and the Indian Armed forces to ensure that the rifles, carbines and pistols manufactured by the firm Sig Sauer were favoured to win contracts worth billions of dollars.
