Karnataka Governor sanctions prosecution of Yeddyurappa

Karnataka Governor HR Bharadwaj has sanctioned the prosecution of Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa following several allegations of land scams in which Mr Yeddyurappa's name figured. Mr Yeddyurappa will now be prosecuted under Section 19 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
