The recent communal strife in south Karnataka, where prayer halls were attacked, has thrown up the name of a Christian organisation called 'New Life'. Saffron groups claim that the group indulges in illegal conversions, something they deny. It is a name that came into focus after the Bajrang Dal claimed responsibility for attacking churches in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district.
