Is the Government divided over how to tackle terror? NDTV has learnt that National Security Adviser M K Narayanan has supported Gujarat's demand for its own anti terror law but the Centre has said no. Gujarat's proposed law is too similar to the Prevention of Anti Terror Act which was scrapped. The NSA in a letter to the Home Ministry has said that anti-terror laws need to be strengthened and there's no reason for the Centre to stop states from getting own anti-terror laws.
