India and France are carrying out combined air defence exercises in Rajasthan's Jodhpur. The code name for the bilateral exercise is "Desert Knight 21". The exercise is crucial for the Indian Air Force that has recently acquired Rafale fighter jets from France. The combined operations will enhance the capabilities of the Air Force's fighter pilots who have been flying the Rafale fighter jets for just over a year now.
