Coronavirus cases in India are rising owing to population and increased testing. AIIMS top official Dr Randeep Guleria says while COVID-19 has spread to smaller cities across multiple states, we needn't worry since the cases per million is still lower and so is mortality rate. Dr Guleria also says the virus survives in humidity and thus the spike in infections can be linked to monsoon. Speaking about the spike in cases in Delhi again, Dr Guleria says the flattening doesn't mean virus is over and the curve will keep fluctuating.
