Heroes are born in moments of adversity. JB Srinivasan is a CRPF bus driver who was just doing his job. Then, militants struck. On Friday morning last week, Srinivasan was driving CRPF personnel from Agiah to Goalpara in Assam, when his bus ran over a landmine, killing five people. The casualties could have been far higher had Srinivasan not reacted immediately, driving the damaged bus straight to a hospital some distance away.
