Continuing on reformative measures in the state excise policy, the Rajasthan Cabinet decided on Wednesday to reduce the number of liquor shops in urban areas in the state to 1,000. Speaking after a Cabinet meeting in Jaipur, which he presided over, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said, "We will fight against liquor and pub culture promoted by the last government. We are against malls where boys and girls go hand in hand."
