Fifty-two people, including at least 40 children, have died in western Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad in the last 15 days of dengue. While the designated hospital in Firozabad reported only 2 fresh dengue deaths over the weekend, hundreds of patients, mostly children, continue to flock to the hospital each day. Disturbing visuals shot by journalists outside the hospital building showed a mother falling at the feet of a top doctor, begging for her 12-year-old child to be admitted.
