A US cable from 2006, released by WikiLeaks, suggests China’s ambassador to India Sun Yuxi exceeded his brief when he insisted that Arunachal Pradesh was a part of China, just a week before President Hu Jintao’s arrival in India on November 20, 2006 for a crucial state visit.
