At a massive show of strength attended by an estimated one lakh supporters on his home turf, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today countered Rahul Gandhi's idea of India as "beehive buzzing with the energy and aspirations of a billion people", saying that for the BJP the "country was our mother".
