Bihar Election News | Prashant Kishor Attacks PM Modi Over GST 2.0, Bihar Election Dates Out Soon

The dates for the Bihar Assembly elections may be announced soon. Officials from the Central Election Commission will visit Bihar soon. In an attempt to woo female voters, the first instalment of funds will be deposited into the accounts of women who applied under the Nitish Kumar government's "Chief Minister Mahila Rojgar Yojana" in Bihar. Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Abhiyan, visited Nalanda yesterday. Mr Kishor while speaking on PM Modi's recent address on GST reforms, arguing that the reforms primarily benefit the wealthy and do not significantly alleviate the struggles of Bihar's predominantly poor population. Former union minister and senior BJP leader, RK Singh questioned, his own party deputy chief minister Samrat Chaudhary and Bihar, BJP president, Dilip Jaiswal over corruption charges levelled against these two leaders by Prashant Kishore.
