Defence Minister Rajnath Singh referred to the Ayodhya judgement as "historic" and appealed to people to respect and accept the Supreme Court verdict with "equanimity" and "magnanimity" adding that the judgement will further strengthen India's social fabric. He also called for peace and harmony following the verdict.
