The Indian Army, Navy and the Air Force of the Gujarat coast on February 9 jointly took up an integrated ‘Theatre Level Operational Readiness Exercise’. The exercise designed to validate synergy between the Army, the Navy and the Air Force was performed just 80 nautical miles from Karachi. It was also intended to send a strong signal to Pakistan in the aftermath of the Mumbai attack.
