INDIA Bloc Ramps Up SIR Protest, Rahul Gandhi Urges Citizens To Join Ramlila Maidan March
The political battle over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is set to escalate, with the INDIA bloc preparing for a major march at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan. Ahead of the rally, Rahul Gandhi has appealed to citizens and students to participate, while the Opposition plans a 'Sarvajanik Mahabhiyog' against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The BJP, meanwhile, has accused Rahul Gandhi of fueling unrest and dismissed the Opposition's planned proceedings as political theatrics.
