Heavy rainfall on Monday brought Gurugram to a standstill, causing massive traffic jams on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. Vehicles were stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic stretching over 7–8 kilometres, with commuters stranded for more than 3 hours. One resident shared their ordeal, saying it took 6 hours to cover just 12 km. The downpour severely disrupted normal life, highlighting the city's persistent infrastructure and drainage challenges during monsoon season.
