2020 was supremely challenging for people from all walks of like due to the pandemic, but more so for doctors and health workers who have toiled day and night. The central government stated that 162 doctors died in the country due to Covid. But the Indian Medical Association (IMA) reacted to that figure in shock, saying the figure was much higher, at 734, till February 3.
