The Supreme Court had appointed top lawyer Raju Ramachandran as Amicus Curae in the case, who is to submit an independent report on the evidence gathered by the SIT. Speaking to NDTV, Mr Ramchandran says if the petitioner Zakia Jafri is unhappy with the SIT closure report she has the right to file a protest petition asking the court not to accept the it. While Mr Ramachandran refused to get into details of his report, he hoped his independent report is also given to the petitioner when she is given the SIT report.
