Devang Shah, portfolio manager with Sharekhan told NDTV that the short term trend for Nifty is positive. Mr Shah adds that Nifty has important support at 8,480 and in the short term it can move up to 8,680 and if Nifty holds 8,680 levels then the medium term target for Nifty would be 8,800.
