Amitabh Kant, Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, says privatisation is very different from asset monetisation. "These projects have to be structured.. the normative value that we have arrived at is roughly Rs 6 lakh crore. It may be more or less, depending on the bidding. We will carry out in every case a transparent, competitive process," he says.
