India Ratings has maintained a stable rating and sector outlook on private sector and large public sector banks for FY16 and a stable to negative outlook for mid-sized PSBs. Senior director Ananda Bhoumik said the rise in bad assets of some banks in Q3 is part of a normalization process and we believe that these entities have strong profitability and capital structure to withstand a downturn.
