Smart phones are passé; it is now the age of the tablets. Kids want to download a zillion apps and games onto them and adults want all their information with them. So, the world's tech giants are battling it out to command the tablet PC market globally and in India. While it will be reasonable to conclude that the Indian tablet market is at a nascent stage, it's now up to manufacturers like apple, RIM and Samsung to ensure that the buzz around the tablet segment does not diminish in the near future.
