IBM signs pact to manage Bharti's Africa operations

Bharti Airtel has signed a pact IBM to supply information technology services to drive modernisation of its new African operations. Airtel said the decade-long tie-up will allow the company to "deliver innovative and affordable 2G and 3G mobile services across the (African) continent.
