Chanda Kochhar, the former head of the ICICI Bank, was in violation of the bank's code of conduct, ICICI said in a statement today, and announced that Ms Kochhar's separation from the bank will be treated as a "Termination for Cause". Chanda Kochhar, 56, has been accused of criminal conspiracy and cheating by the CBI, along with her husband Deepak Kochhar and Videocon head Venugopal Dhoot, in a case linked to alleged irregularities in an over Rs. 3,000-crore loan.
