Dr Tirthankar Patnaik, director and strategist-institutional research at Religare Capital Markets, says that as the government goes forward with its plan to reduce subsidies, oil companies like ONGC will continue to get a push. He also says that if natural a gas price increase does occur, the upstream company will see its earnings grow as well.
