From The Air, A Scene Of Devastation: Nepal Floods Wipe Out Entire Settlements
NDTV witnesses the devastating aftermath of Nepal's flash floods from a helicopter flying back to Kathmandu from the China border. In the worst-hit river valleys, entire settlements appear to have been washed away, with little or no trace remaining. Helicopters are also being used to airlift the mortal remains of those killed in the disaster to central locations for identification and further procedures.
