Pakistan says it has carried out coordinated ground operations and calibrated strikes against alleged Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. According to Islamabad, 29 TTP fighters were killed and multiple militant targets were destroyed in Paktia, Paktika and Kunar. The operation follows a deadly militant attack on Pakistan Rangers in Karachi. Afghan authorities have not yet responded to Pakistan's claims, as tensions along the border continue to rise.
