Pakistan Airstrikes In Afghanistan: 3 Civilians Killed, 28 Militants Claimed Dead
Pakistani fighter jets carried out airstrikes in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, targeting what Pakistani security officials described as suspected militant hideouts. Two Pakistani security officials claimed that 28 suspected militants were killed in the strikes. Afghanistan, however, said at least three civilians were killed and four others wounded. The competing casualty claims could not immediately be independently verified.
