Pakistan has conducted multiple military strikes targeting what it claims are bases of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP and allied fighters inside Afghan territory along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Islamabad says it has clear evidence that the recent militant attacks in Pakistan were directed from across the border.
