Pahalgam: Phased Re-Opening Of Tourist Spots Brings Visitors Back
A day after Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the phased reopening of parks and tourist destinations in the Kashmir valley, a large number of visitors were seen flocking to Pahalgam on Sunday. The area, which witnessed a deadly terror attack on April 22 that claimed 26 lives, is now gradually returning to normalcy. Among the many visitors to the town were groups of tour operators whose presence was welcomed by local stakeholders in the tourism industry.
