As a controversial new account of the US operation that eliminated Al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden in Pakistan continues to make global headlines, at least one major Pakistani politician is now arguing that the US Navy SEALs should not have killed Osama. Speaking to NDTV in Islamabad, Imran Khan says Bin Laden should have been put on trial in much the same way that Saddam Husain was. Shooting him, he argues, has only made Bin Laden a martyr for some people. If Ajmal Kasab could get a legal trial, says Imran, why not Osama bin Laden?
