Notes Ban May Have Negatives, But Will Do Good: Adi Godrej

Speaking on NDTV's Walk The Talk, prominent industrialist and chairman of the Godrej group Adi Godrej was all praise for demonetisation as he said the move may have short-term disadvantages but will do lot of good to India in the long run. Optimistic about the Goods and Services Tax, he said states should realise blocking the roll-out of the crucial tax reform may harm India's image globally. However, he was cautious on the shift towards a cashless economy, calling it "risky and expensive".
