Normal life hit in West Bengal

Normal life was affected across West Bengal due to a 12-hour bandh called by the main opposition Trinamool Congress in protest against ''state sponsored terrorism in Nandigram'' and on several other issues. City roads wore a deserted look with privates buses, taxis, autorickshaws and other modes of transport mostly off, while governments buses and trams were plying with very few passengers.
