Vidhya Ramraj, the daughter of a truck driver from Coimbatore, once struggled to afford running shoes. Her father borrowed money to support her and her twin sister Nithya as they began their athletics journey. Later, when Vidhya trained outside the national camp, her twin sister used her salary to help fund her shoes, supplements, travel and accommodation.
