Tamil Nadu's Erode East constituency, where bypolls will be held next week, is a traditional AIADMK stronghold. However, this time the key opposition party is a divided house with the expulsion of O Panneerselvam over the tussle with Edapadi Palanisami. After losing two polls in alliance with the BJP, the AIADMK leadership also avoids joint campaigns with the national party, tacitly looking at it as a liability. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to K Annamalai, the Tamil Nadu BJP chief, who's raking up ruling DMK's unfulfilled poll promises.
