Residents in Noida have blamed civic negligence for the death of techie Yuvraj Mehta, who drowned after falling into an open, waterlogged construction pit while driving home late at night amid dense fog. Locals told NDTV that the area lacks basic safety measures, including barricading, street lighting, covered drains, mobile connectivity, and police patrolling.
