Action is yet to be taken against members of a right-wing students' group accused of forcing a professor of a north Karnataka engineering college to apologise on his knees for a Facebook post that reportedly criticised the BJP over recent hostilities between India and Pakistan. The incident had occurred in Vijayapura, the home district of Karnataka Home Minister MB Patil, on Saturday. "This kind of moral policing should not be done. The police are there. The law is there. If anybody has posted anything, even if it is against Bharat or our army, we can ask the Superintendent of Police to inquire and make a case," said the Congress politician, who also runs the college where the professor was employed.
