A shocking case of alleged moral policing in Bihar has triggered a political storm after a minor girl and boy were surrounded and harassed by a group of men. Disturbing visuals show the girl being confronted, grabbed and assaulted, while the boy was also allegedly beaten. Police have identified seven accused through the video and arrested three, with an SIT now leading the hunt for the remaining suspects. Authorities have also issued takedown notices to social media accounts circulating the video involving the minors. The case has sparked a wider political row over women’s safety and law and order in Bihar, with the Opposition targeting the government over its response and remarks describing such incidents as “sporadic” or “isolated.”
