now to our special focus this evening on the Bharati, Austria. Some of these troubles in Telangana as the party is fighting a tough battle for survival in the looks of our polls. The latest controversy to hit the party is the arrest of K Chandra Shekhar Rao's nephew Kanna Rao, in an alleged land grabbing case in the state's Adil AAD district. Such troubles have cases and cases have become a routine for the Bharati Atria Sani, which has seen a mass exodus of leaders since its shock assembly election defeat last year. Several incumbent MP and even sitting es of the BR have shifted over to the Congress and have been fielded by the party and embarrassingly even party candidates announced for the Warangal seat moved over to the Congress. More than 10 of the BJP's candidates in the state have a BRS pedigree, emphasising the point, the leaders from the BRS gravitating towards both national parties, leaving it virtually in a desperate situation in some constituencies to find strong candidates. Add to this the phone snooping scandal and embarrassing revelations from its 10 year reign in the state. Uh so the question this evening can the BRS fight this battle for survival. Joining me this evening ND TV is Umar Sudhir and also senior journalist Ravi Khan Reddy of the Hindu. Umar really something of a battle for survival for the BRS. How is this looks of our campaign really shaping up who is fronting? It is certainly in no mood for a full fledged fight in the Luksa elections. Already, as you mentioned, several leaders have switched over, not just the MPs who may have thought that now there is a chance to fight from another party and win, but also have moved over. That includes Nagenda, who just won the karat seat and is now contesting as the Congress candidate from Sikandar. Srihari was elected from Station Kanpur and now his daughter is the Warangal candidate. So in many senses, the has not been able to find candidates. First of all who are wanting to put up the money or put up a good fight in this election to the party itself is in a crisis with so many defections happening and Rayan red also very clearly indicating that he is in every mood to split the party. So it does appear that that may happen even before the elections. The Lua elections and that can in turn, strengthen the Congress in many ways. The third one that you mentioned the arrest of Kandao that happened in Adila in RA, which is part of the greater Hyderabad. That, of course, is not a crisis for the party itself, but certainly a setback for the family in the public perception when already ka is in jail and the tapping issue as well. The names of the first family of the BRS are being mentioned several of those others also being mentioned in land grab cases and other police cases that are being filed against them. And therefore the BRS, in a sense I should say, is very much on the back foot. The only person that you do see going around and speaking about it is Katy Ramaa at a time when his sister is in jail and the legal battle had to happen. Yesterday we saw KCR as well, going to the drought hit areas, farmers and starting to talk about the issues that affect them. So they are trying to put up a fight here, but certainly on the back foot at a time when many political analysts would say This is becoming a straight battle between the BJP and the Congress and they are really fighting for the BRS vote share back to you, right? I see you have safely worn that yellow DPA, which is the TDP scholar not wanting to take any sides as far as telling Ghana is concerned. Of course the TDP relegated to irrelevance in telling Ghana itself, fighting for a return to power in Andhra Pradesh. But Ravi Khan's ready. Really? How do you see playing out for the B RS? Is it going to be K Chandra Shekhar raw And that mighty persona that we saw going in for the assembly elections? The man who is supposed to revive it? Or is it got to be the younger leadership of the party? If it has to survive to come back, come to the fore and front the campaign? How do you see this playing out for the BRS in these loss? Uh, well, rav uh I think you know, uh, apart from KCR, uh, people are not willing to accept any other leader from the BRS. As of now, he's the tallest leader, uh, within the BRS, of course, in Telangana. As long as Mr KCR is there, I think he'll be the person who will be leading the party. And he'll be a hope for the party. His son KTR is definitely, uh, you know, a good speaker and, you know, conveys his party policies much better than any anyone else. But no, his appeal is limited to only a few urban areas. So it is as long as, uh, Mr KCR is there. There is some hope for BRS, but we coming to parliament elections. I think it's going to be very, very, very, very difficult task for them. Uh, because of a lot of desertions, they are yet to come out of the trauma of, you know, losing the elections, which they never thought they would lose. Uh, that is that in fact, you know, mentally has affected a lot of party caer party leadership at various levels. They are yet to come out of it. And people are also, you know, just 100 days 120 days of this government. They still have, you know, some positivity about this government, but next 1, 1.5 months, when it's going to be very harsh summer with drought like conditions right now, and, uh, water shortage. I think that's really going to be some problem for the ruling party. Otherwise, it's spreading. It is sitting pretty good. As of now, I'm pretty safe. And even Mr Kendra she's best efforts. Now we don't really leave the party. Yeah, right, Very, very quickly. Ravi Khan Red. Before I let you go, we are really short of time. But very quickly. One quick question in terms of when you say that looks of our polls is going to be more difficult. Perhaps look at an assembly election, the situation that the BR is in, and correct me if I'm wrong. The trouble is that the BJP is gaining both in the Assembly segments as well as looking at trying to squeeze the BRS out in the looks of our polls. And so is the Congress trying to take over the BRS vote space in the looks of our polls. That's really the challenge for the party. If it has to remain relevant and survive, it needs to at least show that it can win some seats with true rather, uh, but the problem is you know, BRS doesn't have all hope beyond, uh, you know, one or two seats now, uh, first of all, even their candidates are, uh, you know, deserting the party like Kadam, Sheri's daughter. Uh, Doctor ka, who has opted out of Warangal. A lot of other, uh, MP S, you know, was still not very comfortable, uh, fighting against, uh, you know, the mighty BRS Sorry. Mighty Congress as well as the B JP, which is really picking up. And B JP is definitely making some inroads into, uh, BRS Carter. Uh, four of its, you know, sitting MP S have joined the B JP, and, uh, some MP S sitting MP S have joined the Congress. So BRS really looks in shatters as of now. And, uh, the only hope they have is Mister Kia and how he plays out his game for the next one month. And as I said, you know, he has some hope because because of the very harsh summer that the lan expects and the water shortage, this might really play some for the BRS. And the only hope it has is kcr that you're saying there. But thanks very much. there.
