India Probes Cough Syrups, Gujarat Awaits Action On Public Flogging

The government has started an investigation into four cough syrups manufactured by a Haryana-based pharmaceutical firm after the WHO warned that they could be linked to the deaths of 66 children in The Gambia. On the Gujarat flogging video, police chief Ashish Bhatia told NDTV that he will "take disciplinary action depending upon the gravity of the charges".
