Monsoon surge that is being reported from South India is due to strong winds from the Arabian sea...those winds are feeding moisture to the west coast. Orange category warning has been put in place by the met office for Karnataka till Friday. Rain red alert warning has now been reduced to orange category for Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry over the next 48 hours.
