No Mercy for Yakub Memon in 1993 Blasts Case: Justice or Just Symbolism?

Yakub Memon, the man seen to be one of the masterminds of the 1993 Mumbai blasts in which 257 people were killed will hang on July 30. This after Supreme Court dismissed his curative petition. But this is a case where Memon is the only person who would be hanged, his co-conspirators are serving a life term. What is the larger message being sent out here? We debate.
