At a time when they have been slammed for their handling of the riots in Muzaffarnagar, there is good news for Mulayam Singh Yadav and his family. The disproportionate assets case against the Samajwadi Party supremo is being closed. Mulayam's critics say this was the CBI working under the thumb of the government which got Mulayam and his family off the hook and that there are long term political benefits around the corner.
