BJP ally the Shiv Sena has declared that Rahul Gandhi, the Congress' 47-year-old number two is now capable of leading the country. Senior Sena leader Sanjay Raut also assessed that the "Modi wave has faded", and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of the BJP has suggested that the party stop playing "the roles of a ruling party and an opposition at the same time".
