Dr Mithu Alur, who founded the Spastic Society of India, was unaware of the challenges of bringing up a differently-abled child. It was a life challenging event that, half a century later, continues to define her mission of providing her daughter, Malini Chib, and children conditioned with Cerebral Palsy with a normal, healthy life.
