Mumbai's lifeline, its suburban train network, will be open for those who've got both the doses of vaccines from August 15. Two hundred people are allowed at weddings, and restaurants can stay open till 10pm in Maharashtra but Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is yet to take a call on reopening schools. The state government has laid down stringent SOP, ensuring that monthly season passes are issued only to the vaccinated. The civic body has set up helpdesks at various railway stations across Mumbai to help commuters.
